Well, it’s finally 2020. The new year is here and the holidays are behind us. We’ve all probably enjoyed some time off the fitness front and gotten a little carried away with the sweet treats of the season. So, now it’s time to get back on track with our health and fitness! Sometimes that’s easier said than done, so check out these simple tips to help you get back into the groove:
Make a list
Sometimes it’s all a little overwhelming and hard to figure out where to start, so, start simple and just make a list. This can include anything from which workout clothes you want to buy, to the days and times that you’re free to exercise, to the days certain classes are offered. Seeing everything written out in front of you will help to make your plans to get back into fitness more realistic and encourage you to get up and be motivated.
Set yourself a challenge

A great way to keep motivated is to get into a fitness routine alongside a friend. It can be difficult to stay on track when you are going it alone, but having a friend by your side who has the same or similar goals makes it all the more easier – not to mention enjoyable. Make a pact to work out together regularly and encourage one another to stay motivated by showing support and enthusiasm.
