The Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) Fieldhouse AKA “THE Fieldhouse” formerly known as Hoop Magic, NOVA Dome, and NOVA Field House located at
14810 Murdock Street, Chantilly, VA 20151 offers:

Four 85`x 97` turf fields that can be combined into two 170′ x 97′ turf fields.
• 94′ x 50′ NBA sized basketball court with stadium bleachers and scoreboard.
• 1,134 sq feet of multipurpose rooms for parties, meetings, training, and events.
Fieldhouse staff are always ready to help make your event awesome!

Did you know that The Fieldhouse can be rented out for large events such as  ROTC and Gymnastic competitions. With our facility being located close to 28, off of Rt. 50 it makes our facility very accessible to people throughout the Northern Virginia area. ONLY 5 SPOTS & 2 DAYS LEFT TO SIGN UP! Do you want to get ready for Summer, but don’t know where to start? The Fieldhouse is starting a 6-Week program for a small, yet individualized group beginning April 22nd to “Spring into Summer”. Each individual will meet with our Fitness Director to discuss YOUR goals, then after your 1st meeting we will map out a six week plan to “Spring into Summer”. Upon your first meeting with our Fitness Director, you will have a consultation with an Experienced Nutritional Coach to discuss a nutrition plan, and be given information for a closed Q&A group. During the six weeks you will have a variety of workouts custom designed for your goals, including strength, cardio, boot camp and HIIT style. In addition to the variety of different training styles, you will get full use of our weight room, cardio/TRX area and full use of our fields. You will be working with each of our Fitness Trainers here who have over 25 years of experience on a variety of levels and experiences to ensure you reach your goals. With the combined effort of our staff and full use of our facility, we want to make sure you reach your goal to “Spring into Summer” as well as teach you great habits that will become your new routine.

We are so excited to be having Coach Gillespie as a guest speaker at The Fieldhouse. This is an event for all athletes and parents. Tickets for this event are $10 per family. You can purchase tickets by emailing Donny at dsmith@chantillyyouth.org.

Coach Gillespie Career highlights

•30 years of experience at the Collegiate Level and two years at the Professional level with the Seattle Seahawks.

•Won Eight Football Big South Titles at Liberty University.

•At University of Washington, he helped the Football Team to nine bowl appearances during his tenure, including three-consecutive trips to the Rose Bowl. The Huskies earned a 34-14 victory over Michigan on January 1, 1991, to cap off an undefeated 12-0 season and earn a number two national ranking in the polls.

•Gillespie was named Pac-10 Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2001, while finishing as a finalist for the National Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2001.

•While a college athlete at Liberty, Gillespie was a four-time All-American and a two-time small college national champion in the shot put and a two-year letter winner on the football team. Gillespie is the former school record in the shot put with an outdoor mark of 55' 8 ½", a mark which stood for 24 years. He was also Liberty's 1983 recipient of the Rock Royer/Mac Rivera award, given annually to Liberty's top graduating student-athlete.

•Gillespie is a world-renowned weightlifter, as he is a 69-time world record holder in the bench press with a personal best lift of 870 lbs. At the age of 59 in 2018. He is also 23-time world champion in the bench press.

Speech Highlights

•Will describe the “process” that has lead to success in a variety of sports as well as different athletic abilities.

•Will explain true “mental toughness” and how each individual player can attain it.

•Will use examples of his own accord through his 45 year lifting career to attain new records into his 50’s.

•Will talk about how training will translate to success on any field.

•Will share stories of working with some of the greatest athletes in the world, including Jerry Rice.
